Taj Dhabi wins two developments in KAFD

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Taj Dhabi, a subsidiary of the UAE-based Trojan Construction Group, won the design and build contract for two new developments in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), a recent statement announced.

The agreement was signed in a ceremony attended by Gautam Sashittal, Chief Executive Officer of the KAFD Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC), and Mohamed Mahmoud, Chief Executive Officer of Taj Dhabi.

Taj Dubai will design and establish a multi-purpose complex and a retail complex.

The multi-purpose complex will be built on a total area of 167,763 square meters, comprising two office towers of eight floors each including a retail podium in addition to lush parks, plazas, and ample parking provision spread over four levels.

Meanwhile, the retail complex will cover a space of 50,000 square meters, featuring food and beverage outlets, luxury retail areas, and 1,900 parking spaces spread over five floors.

Sashittal commented: “Characterized by its iconic buildings and multi-asset class offering, these latest additions to our portfolio will increase and diversify our provisions for tenants, residents, and visitors.”

For his part, Mahmoud said that the two developments in KAFD are a testament to Taj Dhabi’s ability to deliver high-quality work.

“We are excited to be a part of a project that will contribute to the growth and development of Riyadh's business district. We look forward to working closely with all the stakeholders involved to deliver these projects on time, and in keeping with the highest standards," Mahmoud clarified.
