Mubasher: Tamdeen Investment reported a 134.3% year-on-year profit surge during the second quarter of 2019.
Net profits stood at KWD 1.12 million ($3.69 million) in Q2-19, compared to KWD 478,000 ($1.57 million) in Q2-18, according to the company’s statement to Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday.
For the first six months of 2019, net profits jumped by 27.3% to KWD 10.18 million, from KWD 8 million in H1-18.
The company attributed the increase in net income to the rise of cash dividends.
In Q1-19, Tamdeen achieved a growth of 20.5% in profits, recording KWD 9.09 million.
