Taqat Mineral Trading’s losses widen in H1-26 as sales volume drops

Riyadh — Mubasher: Taqat Mineral Trading Company reported a net loss of SAR 3.89 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, an annual increase of 32.76% from SAR 2.93 million.

The company attributed the deepening loss to a significant reduction in sales volume and gross profit, alongside an increase in general, administrative, and operating expenses.

Revenue for the period fell by 53.20% to SAR 62.23 million, down from SAR 132.96 million in the corresponding half of the prior year. Loss per share widened to SAR 0.32 from SAR 0.24.

Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, decreased by 3.46% to SAR 106.35 million compared to SAR 110.15 million a year earlier.

The company disclosed accumulated losses of SAR 34.11 million, which represent 27.99% of its capital. The external auditor's report included an emphasis of matter paragraph.

Taqat Mineral Trading noted that the primary driver for the revenue decline was a lower volume of sales during the current reporting period.
