Mubasher: Tijara and Real Estate Investment reported a decline of 62% in profits during the third quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings shrank to approximately KWD 132,530 ($439,440) in Q3-17 compared to around KWD 348,920 ($1.16 million) in Q3-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
During the first nine months of 2017, Tijara registered a drop of 43.6% in profits to about KWD 355,060 compared to around KWD 629,320 in the same period last year.
The decrease in profits is attributed to losses from the income statements of an associate, the statement added.
At the stock level, Tijara closed Thursday’s session at 62 fils.
