Mubasher: Topaz Energy and Marine, owned by Renaissance Services, acquired two modern subsea vessels from Vard Brattvaag in Norway at a purchase price of approximately $115 million, according to a bourse filing.
The vessels will be of “VARD 3 08” design, the statement said, adding that they are scheduled to be delivered in the third and fourth quarters of 2017.
The subsea sector grew, Topaz CEO René Kofod-Olsen said, adding that the company is reinvesting in its subsea-capable fleet with these new innovative vessels.
