The “Banque Nationale Agricole” (BNA) has just published its activity indicators as of September 30, 2019.
It shows that outstanding customer receivables reached 10.7 billion dinars, against 9.4 billion at September 30 2018, posting an increase of 13.6%.
Customer deposits went up 931 million dinars between September 2018 and September 2019, up 12.4% to 8.4 billion dinars.
At the end of September 2019, bank operating income reached 969 million dinars, against 774 million dinars a year earlier, posting a rise of 195 million dinars, i.e. an increase rate of 25.3%.
Bank operating expenses grew 117 million dinars, from 375 million dinars at September 30, 2018 to 492 million at the end of last September, i.e. up 31.2%.
To this end, Net Banking Income (NBI) stood at 477 million dinars as of September 30, 2019 compared with 398 million a year earlier, posting an increase of 19.6%.
In addition, the total amount of operating expenses rose by 12.2% between September 2018 and September 2019, up from 188 million dinars to 211 million.
