Modern Leasing, a subsidiary of “Banque de l’Habitat”, has just published its financial statements closed on December 31, 2018.
The latter show a net loss of 3.3 million dinars, against a profit of 3.1 million of dinars in 2017.
Net leasing revenues declined from 13.7 million dinars in 2017 to 8.9 million in 2018, recording a 35% drop due to the increase in financial charges by 50% to 27.6 million dinars.
In addition, operating expenses grew by 32%, reaching 12.2 million dinars at the end of 2018, compared to 9.2 million at the end of 2017.
The operating result shows a deficit of 3.2 million dinars, against a profit of 4.4 million dinars at 31/12/2017.
