UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session lower by 4.98 points (0.11%) at 4,248.10 points.

DFM’s turnover hit AED 238.23 million through the exchange of 87.14 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest trading value of AED 58.73 million, while Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) was the most active stock with 16.38 million shares.

Mashreq Bank advanced the gainers with 2.57%, whereas Watania International Holding headed the losers with 6.32%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.024% to 9,232.24 points.

A total of 174.97 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 871.86 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.86 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 193.63 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 21.81 million shares.

Gulf Medical Projects Company led the risers with 6.15%, whereas Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company was the top faller with 9.52%.
