UAE stock markets close Monday with collective gains

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 7.47 points (0.18%) at 3,993.83 points.

A total of 263.13 million shares were traded at a value of AED 473.48 million.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance led the risers with 8.91%, while Ajman Bank headed the fallers with 5.75%.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 61.03 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 75.03 million shares.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 1.154% to 9,740.48 points.

ADX’s turnover stood at AED 1.16 billion through the exchange of 258.83 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.82 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 207.44 million.

RAK Properties, which was the most active stock with 47.20 million shares, topped the gainers with 8.36%.

Meanwhile, Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) led the decliners with 10%.
