UAE stock markets close Monday with negative note

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 2.65 points (0.06%) and closed Monday’s trading session at 4,223.25 points.

The trading value hit AED 289.60 million through the exchange of 138.88 million shares.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 51.46 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 32.07 million shares.

Orascom Construction advanced the risers with 9.86%, whereas Shuaa Capital led the falling companies with 6.78%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also ended the session lower by 0.208% at 9,260.60 points.

ADX’s turnover reached AED 1.07 billion after 273.78 million shares were exchanged, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.82 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 211.43 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 47.44 million shares.

Easy Lease Motorcycle Rental topped the gainers with 4.73%, whereas Al Khaleej Investment led the fallers with 9.93%.
