UAE stock markets close Sunday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up 0.82% to settle at 2,880.61 points by the end of Sunday's trading session.

A total of 276.728 million shares were traded through 4,043 transactions valued at AED 309.854 million.

Aramex led the rising stocks with 8.66%, while Union Properties topped the losing stocks with 4.83%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up 0.93% to close Sunday's session at 7,949.43 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.479 billion after 241.229 million shares had been exchanged through 6,986 transactions.

Ras Al Khaimah Cement Investment Company headed the green zone with 14.91%, while Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials (Bildco) came on top of the red zone with 10%.
