UAE stock markets close Thursday higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 42.76 points (1.08%) to 3,982.07 points on Thursday. A total of 247.41 million shares were traded at a value of AED 721.60 million.

National General Insurance was the top riser with 13.93%, while International Financial Advisors Holding (IFA) led the fallers with 8.33%.

Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 155.45 million and Union Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume with 35.74 million shares.

The benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session higher by 0.41% at 9,475.99 points.

The trading value totalled AED 1.19 billion after 252.75 million shares were exchanged. Meanwhile, the market cap value reached AED 2.86 trillion.

Palms Sports was the top riser with 8.53%, while RAPCO Investment led the fallers with 9.76%.

International Holding Company (IHC) maintained the biggest turnover of AED 218.151 million, while RAK Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 32.07 million shares.
