UAE stock markets close Thursday on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 5.72% to close Thursday's session at 3,326.57 points.

A total of 292.64 million shares were traded through 15,309 transactions valued at AED 840.91 million.

Shuaa Capital led the losing stocks with 9.91%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index retreated by 6.12% to settle at 9,150.63 points by the end of Thursday.

Turnover amounted to AED 2.16 billion after 338.65 million shares had been exchanged through 19,291 transactions.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) headed the red zone with 10%.
