UAE stock markets close Thursday’s session on mixed note

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 26.69 points (0.79%) to close Thursday’s session at 3,316.58 points.

The turnover totalled AED 869.12 million through the exchange of 371.50 million shares.

Al Firdous Holding led the fallers with 10%.

In line with the beginning of trading its shares on DFM, Salik topped the risers with 11% and became the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 252.04 million shares exchanged at AED 580.47 million.  

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the session higher by 0.435% to 9,782.25 points.

The turnover reached AED 7.03 billion after 884.10 million shares were traded, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.21 trillion.

Insurance House advanced the risers with 14.94%, while Al Ain Ahlia Insurance Company was the top faller with 9.98%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest trading value of AED 287.19 million, while Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) was the most active stock on which 71.77 million shares were exchanged.
