UAE stock markets close Tuesday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s session higher by 6.98 points (0.17%) to 3,997.58.

A total of 73.63 million shares were traded at a turnover of AED 134.94 million.

Aramex advanced the risers with 3.68%, while the top faller was National International Holding (NIH) with 9.91%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 34.30 million and Union Properties maintained the biggest trading volume with 15.05 million shares.

The main index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session higher by 0.17% at 9,493.75 points.

The trading value stood at AED 4.62 billion after 337.63 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit AED 2.89 trillion.

Gulf Cement Company topped the risers with 9.89%, whereas Gulf Medical Projects (GMPC) led the fallers with 8.38%.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 226.11 million and Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) was the most active stock with 37.53 million shares.
