UAE stock markets flag in red on Monday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 4.78 points (0.11%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 4,018.14 points.

DFM’s turnover reached AED 115.28 million through the exchange of 41.60 million shares.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) recorded the highest turnover of AED 24.55 million in addition to being the most active stock with 10.06 million shares.

National International Holding (NIH) advanced the risers with 14.85%, while Takaful Emarat led the fallers with 4.53%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.057% to 9,484.42 points.

A total of 165.92 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 885.86 million, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.91 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 214.17 million, while RAK Properties dominated trading volume with 30.60 million shares.

Al Khaleej Investment topped the gainers with 13.75%, whereas Sudatel Telecom headed the decliners with 3.32%.
