UAE stock markets show mixed performance on Monday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) retreated by 29.99 points (0.67%) and closed Monday’s trading session at 4,327.19 points.

DFM’s turnover hit AED 334.74 million through the exchange of 238.80 million shares throughout the session.

Emaar Properties registered the highest trading value of AED 68.39 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 79.05 million shares.

Orascom Construction advanced the risers with 10%, whereas Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) headed the fallers with 9.92%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the session higher by 0.072% at 9,285.59 points.

A total of 214.21 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 892.55 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.86 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 208.51 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 26.79 million shares.

Response Plus Holding led the gainers with 15%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Company headed the losers with 10%.
