UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 13.13 points (0.31%) on Monday and ended the trading session higher at 4,155.85 points.
A total of 79.08 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 215.16 million.
Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value of AED 70.34 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 17.97 million shares.
Orascom Construction advanced the risers with 9.90%, whereas Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) headed the decliners with 10%.
On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged down by 0.025% to 9,035.18 points.
The turnover reached AED 1.06 billion through the exchange of 345.73 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.77 trillion.
International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 199.33 million.
Eshraq Investments, which led the gainers with 5.07%, dominated the trading volume with 95.42 million shares.
Meanwhile, GFH Financial Group led the fallers with 5.41%.
