UAE stock markets show varied performance on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 5.84 points (0.15%) on Thursday and closed the trading session in the red zone at 3,776.39 points.

A total of 490.11 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 434.27 million.

Dar Al Takaful led the risers with 14.98%, while Orascom Construction headed the fallers with 10%.

Taaleem Holdings generated the highest turnover with AED 65.92 million, while Ithmaar Holding dominated the trading volume with 190.65 million shares.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.397% to 9,528.11 points.

The turnover stood at AED 867.22 million through the exchange of 160.44 million shares, while the market cap value hit AED 2.74 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 245.61 million, while Dana Gas was the most active stock with 20.41 million shares.

Alpha Dhabi Holding advanced the gainers with 10.50%, while Fujairah Cement Industries Company (FCI) topped the decliners with 7.50%.
