UAE stock markets show varied performance on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s session in the green zone, after rising by 1.15 points (0.02%) to hit 4,232.94 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 407.10 million through the trading of 224.82 million shares.

Al Firdous Holding advanced the rising stocks on DFM with 5%, whereas Shuaa Capital led the fallers with 8.06%.

Emaar Properties generated the biggest trading value of AED 9.61 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 51.20 million shares were traded.

On the other hand, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined by 0.09% to close the session at 9,263.96 points.

A total of 228.51 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.23 billion, while the market cap value totalled AED 2.88 trillion.

Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) advanced the risers with 6.67%, while Palms Sports topped the fallers with 4.58%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 213.45 million, whereas Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 20.56 million shares were traded.
