Mubasher: The board of directors of Oman’s United Finance Company (UFC) has approved to hold talks with Alizz Islamic Bank regarding a possible merger.
The board had received a letter from the bank last Monday, which proposed a merger on a full cash acquisition basis, given the needed approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities.
