Riyadh – Mubasher: Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction Company registered net profits worth SAR 983.39 million in 2025, signaling a leap of 97.23% from SAR 498.61 million in 2024.
The earnings per share (EPS) went up to SAR 0.70 in 2025 from SAR 0.38 in the previous year, according to a bourse filing.
Umm Al Qura for Development, which is the owner, developer, and operator of MASAR Destination project, generated 59.18% higher revenue at SAR 2.90 billion in 2025 compared to SAR 1.82 billion in 2024.
The generated higher revenue was primarily driven by the sale of 19 land plots during the year.
The CEO of Umm Al Qura for Development, Yasser AbuAteek, said: “2025 was our best year yet with revenue [reaching SAR 2.90 billion] for the year from the sale of 19 land plots as well as an additional ten plots under reservation by the end of 2025, with deposits under this reservation model totaling more than SAR 300 million which reflects continued robust demand.”
AbuAteek elaborated: “The performance demonstrates not only our commitment to sustainable growth but also the strength of our development pipeline.”
The CEO said that the company remains “very optimistic about 2026.”
He concluded: “Our strategic milestones are on track, we have appointed 2 new main contractors to progress on Packages (A) & (B) developments, our reservation model continues to boost future sales and favorable regulatory developments support our business. As we advance toward our vision of becoming the first choice for residents and visitors of Makkah, we reaffirm, for the love of Makkah, our commitment to contributing to the growth and prosperity of the holy city and enhancing the experience of all who visit it.”
In the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Umm Al Qura for Development recorded net profits amounting to SAR 912.90 million and revenue of SAR 2.43 billion.
