Riyadh - Mubasher: The accumulated losses of Wafrah for Industry and Development Company dropped from 30.77% to 16.29% of the SAR 77.17 million capital at the end of the first half (H1) of 2022.
The accumulated losses reached SAR 12.56 million as of H1-22, according to a recent bourse filing.
Wafrah logged net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 11.17 million during the January-June 2022 period, against net losses of SAR 2.78 million in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the revenues enlarged by 83.99% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 67.55 million in the first six months (6M) of 2022, compared to SAR 36.71 million.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.45 in H1-22, versus a loss per share of SAR 0.36 in H1-21.
Last June, the company’s shareholders approved to increase its capital by SAR 154.34 million to SAR 231.51 million from SAR 77.17 million.
