Waha Capital reports 32% rise in Q1-22 unaudited profits

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits attributable to the owners of Waha Capital hiked by 32% to AED 146.62 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to AED 110.58 million in the year-ago period, according to the company's unaudited consolidated financials for the three-month period ended 31 March 2022.

The company generated revenues of AED 71.06 million in the first three months (3M) of 2022, down from AED 77.94 million in the same period of 2021.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.07 in Q1-22, against AED 0.06 in Q1-21.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company recorded net profits attributable to the owners of AED 391.03 million, up 69% from AED 230.96 million a year earlier.
