Riyadh – Mubasher: Wajd Life Trading Company announced its interim financial results for the six-month period that ended on 30 June 2026, recording earnings of SAR 3.96 million, an annual hike of 95.26% from SAR 2.03 million.
Earnings per share (EPS) climbed to SAR 0.32 in the first half (H1) of 2026 from SAR 0.20 in H1-25.
The company’s revenue increased by 17.34% to reach SAR 45.63 million, compared to SAR 38.89 million in the prior-year period.
Management attributed this growth to a 24.50% rise in operation and maintenance revenues resulting from an increased volume of executed projects.
Profitability was further supported by a 20% reduction in general and administrative expenses.
Additionally, the company did not record any expected credit loss provisions during the current period, whereas it had recognized SAR 1.60 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
These gains were achieved despite higher financing costs and a slight decline in total profit. Total shareholders' equity grew by 17.50% to SAR 26.58 million.
The external auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
On 16 August, the company signed a contract valued at SAR 39.33 million with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
