Mubasher: The financial statements of Warba Capital Holding Co. showed a 91.4% year-on-year decline in losses during the fiscal year ended 31 July 2019.
Annual losses totalled about KWD 629,310 ($2.08 million) in FY18/19, compared to KWD 7.3 million ($24.11 million) in the corresponding fiscal year, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
Earnings per share dropped to 6.29 fils during FY18/19 when compared to 73.02 fils a year earlier.
The company further said that it did not record any impairment whether in its sister company, the financial assets available for sale, or the unrealised loss on financial assets at fair value through profit or loss.
It is worth noting that during the nine-month period ended on 30 April, the firm suffered 190.4% hike in losses at about KWD 755,500 from about KWD 260,120 during the corresponding period a year ago.
