Mubasher: Warba Capital Holding Co. has announced that it paid the remainder of a debt owed to a Kuwaiti bank, amounting to KWD 1.75 million ($5.75 million).
The payment of the debt will reduce the amount of the payable interests, Warba said in a bourse statement released on Wednesday.
In March, Warba Capital Holding registered a loss of about KWD 544,000 ($1.79 million) during the second quarter ended on 31 January 2019 when compared to nearly KWD 102,500 ($338,000) in the same period a year ago, a year-on-year increase of 430%.
