Yamama Cement generates SAR 695m revenues in H1-26; profits up

Riyadh - Mubasher: Yamama Cement Company witnessed an annual rise of 0.88% in net profit to SAR 265.39 million during the first half (H1) of 2026, compared to SAR 263.08 million.

The listed group achieved this growth despite a 2.34% decline in total revenues, which fell to SAR 694.76 million from SAR 711.42 million.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the period went up to SAR 1.31 from SAR 1.30.

For the second quarter (Q2) ending on 30 June 2026, the net profit amounted to SAR 121.51 million, up 0.42% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 121 million.

Quarterly operating profit, however, declined by 8.15% to SAR 123.14 million.

The company attributed the slight rise in net profit to higher other income generated from the sale of production line components and gas turbines from its old factory, alongside investment income and a reduction in financing expenses.

These factors offset a decrease in average selling prices, which impacted both quarterly and half-year revenues despite an increase in the total volume of cement sold.

Total shareholders' equity grew by 2.66% to reach SAR 5.03 billion.

At the end of March 2026, Yamama Cement generated net profits valued at SAR 143.87 million, up 1.26% from SAR 142.07 million a year earlier.
