Zain KSA records 84% higher profits in H1-26; quarterly revenues hit SAR 2.6bn

Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) logged a net profit of SAR 405 million for the six-month period ending 30 June 2026, representing an 84.09% increase from SAR 220 million in the same period last year.

Earnings per share rose (EPS) to SAR 0.45 from SAR 0.24, according to a bourse filing.

For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company posted a net profit of SAR 204 million, up 60.62% from SAR 127 million in the prior-year quarter.

Quarterly revenue remained stable at SAR 2.65 billion, despite a decline in handset sales.

The company attributed the profit growth to a 1.8% rise in gross profit to SAR 1.65 billion, supported by growth in 5G services for the individual segment.

Operating profit for the quarter climbed 17.70% to SAR 359 million, aided by a SAR 31 million reduction in depreciation and amortization expenses.

Zain KSA also recorded non-recurring income of SAR 15 million from the Universal Service Fund during the quarter, while finance costs decreased by 7% to SAR 12 million due to debt structure improvements. Total shareholders' equity reached SAR 10.83 billion as of 30 June 2026.

At the end of March 2026, Zain KSA achieved a net profit valued at SAR 201 million.
