Riyadh - Mubasher: United Electronics Company (extra) recorded a preliminary net profit of SAR 197.23 million for the first six months (6M) of 2026, representing a 2.38% increase from SAR 192.65 million in the same period last year.
Total revenue for the half-year period rose by 5.27% to SAR 4.07 billion, driven by a 4.60% growth in retail sales and an 11.80% increase in consumer finance income.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, the company’s net profit reached SAR 102.57 million, down 3.73% from SAR 106.54 million in the prior-year quarter.
While retail sector profits grew by 7.30%, the consumer finance division saw a 20.30% decline in net earnings. Quarterly revenue improved by 5.47% to SAR 2.24 billion, supported by strong performance in the business-to-business (B2B) segment and higher average transaction values.
Operating profit for the first half reached SAR 278.94 million, up 2.25% from SAR 272.80 million a year earlier.
Earnings per share for the six-month period stood at SAR 2.58, compared to SAR 2.52 in 2025.
Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, was reported at SAR 1.66 billion as of 30 June 2026.
In Q1-26, eXtra generated net profits attributable to the owners amounting to SAR 94.74 million, an annual rise of 10.03% from SAR 86.10 million.
