Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (stc) has appointed Mohammed Al Faisal as the Chairman of the board, according to a bourse disclosure.
The company’s board also named Yazeed Al Humied as the Vice Chairman for the next four years.
Meanwhile, the two official took over their role for a new term that began on 25 July 2024 and will remain in position until 24 July 2028.
The telecom group recently disclosed its financial results for the first half (H1) of 2024, registering net profits valued at SAR 6.59 billion, higher by 7.73% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 6.11 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 1.32 as of 30 June 2024 from SAR 1.23 in H1-23, while the revenues soared by 4.79% to SAR 38.25 billion from SAR 36.50 billion.
