Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (stc) inked a series of strategic agreements at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, focusing on AI, data centers, cloud computing, 5G connectivity, and digital solutions across key Saudi sectors.
The partnerhisps with AWS, AMD, Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco, and Intel aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure, accelerate AI adoption, and enhance next-generation connectivity and cloud services.
Moreover, stc announced collaborations supporting digital transformation in media, logistics, sports, construction, tourism, and real estate, reinforcing its role in enabling the Kingdom’s digital economy.
Through its subsidiary center3, stc plans to develop AI-ready data-center capacity starting at 250 megawatts, while expanding its global connectivity infrastructure across subsea cables, terrestrial networks, and satellites.
Key agreements included a multi-year agreement with Ericsson to expand stc’s 5G network, including the world’s first commercial deployment of Ericsson Radio 4496 using stc’s newly acquired 600 MHz spectrum.
Additional agreements with EZDITEK and DataVolt will strengthen data-center connectivity and network resilience, while partnerships across media, tourism, sports, construction, and logistics will support the broader digital transformation of Saudi Arabia’s economy.
